If you've peeked through the fencing and have seen the major main track and field renovation lately-it certainly looks very different! We are well on our way to a new turfed field, new track surface and retaining wall improvements to re-route water off the hill and away from our new field thanks to the recently passed EISD bond package. Thanks to the bond, our EISD Board of Trustees, and Dr. Wellman finally our PE students, athletes, weekend sports programs, and our West Ridge community can play and participate on a field that is level and much softer and safer than the rock hard grass/dirt field. This is one of the major EISD bond projects that's happening at our school this year along with a new HVAC air system scheduled for this summer, the American with Disabilities Act improvements slated for this school year and beyond and acoustical ceiling improvements in both our gyms.
